The iPod U2 Special Edition is a special version of the iPod. The U2 special edition iPod is in black, has a red click wheel, and contains the autographs of the U2 band at the back.

On June 28, 2005, the iPod U2 Special Edition gained a colour screen (from the previous black-and-white screen) and had its pricing lowered to USD 329.
