Mac OS X 10.0.2

Mac OS X 10.0.2 is the second update to Mac OS X 10.0 "Cheetah" and to Mac OS X overall. The new update has the build number 4P12. The update was released on May 1, 2001.

The following optimisations, improvements and enhancements have been made with this release:

Also, enriched recongition of display resolutions choices, and refined audio performance on certain Macs and refined compatibility with displays that are connected to certain types of ATI display cards, also formed part of the update.

But by far the most important updates were those for the support of customised CDs. CD burning was added with the release, along with an iTunes update, iTunes 1.1.1.
