Mac OS X 10.2.2 is the second update to be released for Mac OS X 10.2 "Jaguar". It was released on November 11, 2002.

Mac OS X 10.2.2 improves and enhances the Address Book, iChat, IP Firewall, Mail, Print Centre, Rendezvous, Sherlock and Windows file service discovery. Journalling is also included.

The biggest news surrounding the Mac OS X 10.2.2 update is the journalling feature. This is very important for the server market. Journalling allows the user to recover lost data, or a wholly lost system, easier than before.
Journalling isn't new to the computing world, but is relatively new to the Mac OS. Mac OS X Server 10.2.2 also allows users to use the journalling feature.
Many view Apple's moves in this vein as an effort to go into the server market.
