WikiMac:Semistub
From WikiMac, Everyone's Mac Knowledgebase
Semistubs are articles which have more content than a stub, but still less than an "ordinary" or "full"/"standard" article (and for such an article, we give no official specification).
Semistubs are basically articles which:
- have around 500 words of text
- have a graphic but just a few lines of text
- have less than three paragraphs, but with enough text in each paragraph to "scare away" the prospect of being a stub.
If you edit or see an article with enough content that makes you not want to give it stub status, but there's something (like your inner WikiKarma) that makes you think that it wouldn't be all too good to pass the article off as a "normal" article, make the article a semistub.
Write the following inside the article (preferably near the end): {{semistub}}.
This produces:
Take the tag off once the article is no longer (or no longer appears to be) a semistub.
