WikiMac:Skeleton

From WikiMac, Everyone's Mac Knowledgebase

Skeletons, and those who create them, do not get the death penalty on WikiMac.

Skeletons are articles with the appropriate structure in place. That is, there are sections, there are section headings, etc..., but what is missing is the content. It is correct to say that with just the right "meat", that is, the real content, they will become complete articles.

If you come across a skeleton the first thing to do is to remain calm. They will not bite you. Your computer will also not be bitten (especially if it is a Mac.

Help an ailing skeleton by filling in sections that need information; start by replenishing data into an empty section, or start by rewriting the whole thing altogether. Avoid at all costs the riskier transformation of skeletons into stubs.

The main difference between stubs and skeletons is structure. Stubs are short on content, while skeletons are short on structure. Lack of structure does not necessarily indicate lack of content, something which separates skeletons distinctly from stubs.

All skeletons are located here. Chill.
